End-to-End process

An End-to-End process (End-2-End/E2E) comprises the sequence of all necessary process steps and activities directly related to the business transaction across different systems and departments, starting with the customer’s needs and ending with the fulfilment of the customer’s requirements. A customer includes both, internal and external customers.

The E2E approach includes all logical sequences, services, resources, interfaces, taking into account applicable standards and regulations, and supports optimized service delivery through upstream and downstream processes.
